Basic Estate Planning

Four Stages of Estate Planning

Estate planning is not mere death planning. It encompasses a time frame from the current moment up to a period that could end years after your death. There are four distinct Stages of Estate Planning. Each Stage has issues that must be worked through in order to give you peace of mind. I help you resolve these different issues through the different Stages to give you a customized estate plan.

Estate Planning Documents

A good Basic Estate Plan is created with several documents. They are: Revocable Living Trust, Pour-Over Will, Durable Power of Attorney for Financial Matters, Advanced Health Care Directive, Assignment of Property, Property Agreement for Married Couples, Certificate of Trust (Privacy Affidavit) and Authorization to Release Confidential Medical Information (HIPAA Authorization), Nomination of Conservator and Nomination of Guardian for Minor Children.
